Amusing Antics & Helpful Advice

About This Site

This site was set up to help provide amusing anecdotes, as well as useful information to all pet owners, regardless of age or experience.

Hopefully, the stories on our “musings from the menagerie” blog will make you smile, laugh and maybe occasionally cry and you will find that the articles on the site helpful in helping you understand the animals in your care a little more.

Although there are opportunities to help support our cause, this is by no means the thrust of this site, which is the education of all pet owners.

About Our Animals

The majority of the animals that you will “meet” within these pages are rescues of one form or another.

They have come from a variety of sources, including “owner-surrendered”, to adoption centres, to coming to us via the vets or other charities – the one thing that they have in common, is that we know little or nothing about their backgrounds other then that they need a loving home that will endeavor to understand them for the rest of their days.

To find out more about our animals, past as well as present, please check out our “Meet the gang” and “Previous Residents” pages.

Our Friends

As with all these things, you can’t do it completely by yourself, and on these pages, are links and information about some of the people who make this possible.

It is also where we talk about some of the other wonderful charities that we either work with, or support where we can either by homing some of their animals, or passing the good karma on where we can if there is something they need.

Supporting Our Cause

Although we are not running this site to ask for people to support us financially, we have been asked by some that follow our work how they could  help support our cause.

There are a couple of ways that people can help support our cause, which include our various fundraising campaigns, direct donation via paypal where all the monies raised are used to support the animals in our care, be that with food, bedding, medication or vet care when needed.

We have also got “wish-lists” that people can shop off of to buy specific items for our furries that will be despatched to us directly.

To find out more about supporting our cause, and for a thank your from the gang, please read our “Supporting Our Cause” pages.
